The aim of this project is to provide guidelines for targeted hemp cultivation for quality textile fibre to the Flemish arable sector.
This meets the explicit demand of the Flemish textile sector to be able to work with hemp fibres from local, traceable and sustainable cultivation and processing, as the current supply from the world's largest producer China does not meet this requirement.
