Our partners
The FRIS (Flanders Research Information Space) program has been established as close cooperation between the Department of Economics, Science and Innovation and the knowledge institutions in Flanders. With each of them, the Flemish government concluded the necessary agreements to allow data delivery from their systems to the FRIS portal. In this way, the institutions remain the authentic source of their own data, and the exchange of information no longer will be based on ad hoc collecting a set of data for FRIS.
In the past, only the current research information of the Flemish universities was visible on the research portal. Today we can introduce the following institutions as official partners of the FRIS program.

Flanders Make is the strategic research centre for the manufacturing industry. From their sites all over Flanders, they stimulate open innovation through excellent research. In addition, companies can work together with them in a custom innovation trajectory. Finally, they also offer an extensive range of testing and validation infrastructure for products or production.

WOOD.BE supports companies in the wood and furniture industry in realizing an innovative and sustainable future. They are the knowledge centre for the wood and furniture industry. Their team of experts supports companies to the maximum in realising their innovative and sustainable future.

Over the course of its 200 year history Ghent University has built up a strong scientific reputation. Ghent University invests both in fundamental, high risk science as in applied research. 
The Scientific and Technical Center for the Construction Company (WTCB) has existed since 1959 and was founded by and for the sector. Every year all WTCB employees are ready to support construction professionals with their daily tasks. The link to the daily practice is here an important factor. That is why the Technical Committees are essential for the operation of the Center. 
Biogas-E is the platform for anaerobic digestion in Flanders, the northern region of Belgium. It is a not-for-profit organization that was founded by the department of Environmental Sciences at HOWEST (University College West Flanders) in Kortrijk. Biogas-E strives to maximize the biogas potential in Flanders and to this end will support as many initiatives on anaerobic digestion as possible by giving objective but accurate advice. 
Internation Centre of Excellence for the Study of Music in the Low Countries. The Alamire Foundation was founded in 1991 as a co- operative association between the University of Leuven (KU Leuven, Musicology Research Unit) and the non-profit organisation Musica (Impulse Centre for Music). Its mission is to undertake, stimulate, and co-ordinate innovative research on music and musical life in the Low Countries from the early Middle Ages until 1800. 
Flanders Heritage is a Government of Flanders agency and scientific institution. The agency is responsible for immovable cultural heritage, including architectural, archaeological, maritime heritage and cultural landscapes.
