This project analyzes whether political gender stereotypes are present in a PR system (compared to majority electoral systems, which have already been extensively studied), whether list position is an intervening factor and what kind of voters are more prone for stereotypes. A quasi-experimental design will be set up. Respondents will be asked to assess audio messages of hypothetical candidates.

This project examines the diverse representations of early Judaism across the German-speaking lands of the 19th century. In view of the rising nation-state, it illuminates the importance of the ancient past for the modern political present, the effects of that present on reconstructing antiquity, and the significance of place for knowledge-production.
