The aim of this study is to investigate self-regulated learning skills of (bachelor) medical students in an integrated contextual curriculum and determine whether there is any relation with academic achievement. Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ: Pintrich et al, 1991) will be used to assess students' self-regulated learning skills and focus groups to validate findings.

Evaluation of the admission exam for medical and dental studies Ghent University
The results of the students on the admission exam are gathered, analyzed and interpreted. In this study the predictive validity of the "Admission Examination Medicine and Dentistry" will be investigated with regard to the candidates' results in their education. In addition, the face validity will be determined by scrutinizing the reactions of the participating candidates.
