Digitisation of bryophyte and macroalgae types kept at the National Botanic Garden of Belgium (BR)

This project aims to scan and database ca. 1,600 type specimens of bryophyte and macroalgae types kept at the National Botanic Garden of Belgium. The National Botanic Garden of Belgium will provide high resolution images and associated data to the Mellon Foundation for use by JSTOR on a central web site for scholarly and non commercial purposes. Moreover the National Botanic Garden of Belgium will deliver a web-style portal through which label information and images of the type specimens will be accessible.
