«Russkii Ezhenedel’nik v Bel’gii» as a main source on the history of the everyday life of the Russian diaspora interbellum

The article studies the first and unique magazine of the Russian emigration in Belgium as a main source on the history of everyday life of Russian emigration in Belgium in the interwar period. The main feature of the magazine is providing the complete information on the social, cultural and everyday life that allows to recreate the space of the «Russian» Brussels and to reveal the main characteristics of the everyday life of the diaspora as a whole. In the framework of the conducted research, the detailed database of all the articles and ads of the «Russkii Ezhenedel’nik v Bel’gii» was created - what allowed to take a broader look at the culture of Russian diaspora. The article presents some unknown facts about the «Russkii Ezhenedel’nik v Bel’gii» and provides characteristics of some aspects of the everyday and cultural life of the Russian emigration in Belgium interbellum.
