A new species of Didymium from Spain.

A new species, Didymium charoae, is described from Spain, where it was collected growing on mosses that covered the bark of living trees of Quercus ilex ssp. ballota and, more rarely, on the bark itself. Macro- and micrographs of fruiting bodies and morphological features under the stereomicroscope and the light microscope (LM) are provided, along with micrographs of spore ornamentation as observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).
