Ontwerp en implementatie van efficiënte en veilige cryptografische coprocessoren in nieuwe technologieën

With the slow-down of Moore's law, general-purpose computing faces reduced expected performance improvements in the coming years. In anticipation of this problem, dedicated hardware architectures are designed in several application domains. In order to meet strict constraints on, e.g., cost and energy consumption, emerging technologies are considered for the design and implementation of dedicated hardware. In this PhD project, the candidate will work on the design and implementation of cryptographic hardware in emerging technologies. Examples of technologies that will be considered, are flexible electronics on the one hand, and ultra low-leakage technologies on the other hand.
