PhD Onderzoeker: De 'hermediëring' van wetenschapsnieuws

How does science news come into being and circulate in today's global media landscape? This dissertation will mainly focus on remediation strategies that news publications use when transfering a science news item from one platform to another, through examining different linguistic and formal elements that may or may not have been adjusted during the remediation process. The dissertation will then asses whether these adaptations may have an impact on the news consumer’s perception and knowledge of the science news item under study.
