Duurzaamheidstransities en werknemersinspraak

In this chapter, the authors look at the ways labour union representatives can foster sustainability transitions through their representative role in their company. A hierarchy (ladder) of trade union environmental attitudes is developed. Finally, a large number of action proposals are formulated as recommendations. A first step for trade unions is to develop their own vision on sustainability transitions. in a second step, labour unions should translate that vision to the company level in the respective sectors.
