Tussen Incarnatie en Transcendentie: Francis Schüssler Fiorenza's reconstructieve hermeneutica als rationaliteit en methodologie voor een kritische inbreng tot waarheid en mening in de deelname aan religieuze tradities

This study employs the theological insights of Francis Schüssler Fiorenza as a guiding epistemology and theological method, in conjunction with theologicalepistemological category of incarnation as developed by Lieven Boeve. In doing so, this study suggests that the tension between the universality implied by theological truth and the particularity, in which this truth is manifested and determined, is creatively maintained
through a reconstructive hermeneutics coupled to an incarnation epistemology. However, as this is the culminating point toward which this study progresses, the foundational tasks of this study is critical research into the theological vision of Fiorenza, into the concept of particularity as it is understood and applied in a range of contexts, and into a hermeneutical theology of the particularity of the Christian tradition.
