The forgotten audience? A research on the role of television fiction in the identity construction of migrant youngsters: A reception analysis from a visual ethnographic perspective Ghent University
The purpose of this research is to elaborate on the meaning of popular fictional televisionprogrammes for migrant youngsters. We will study this by means of qualitative audience-and reception research. More specifically, we will study the impact of popular fiction contents on the identity construction of migrant teenagers. To do this, we will use a recently developed method visual ethnography.
