Sovan Biswas
- Research Expertise:Sovan is currently a Marie-Curie (IF) postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Bert Maes at the University of Antwerp. He is working on transition metal (TM) catalyzed directed C(sp3)-H activation and post-functionalization of saturated (hetero)cyclic amines. It is a part of his broad research field in the development of new methodologies for organic synthesis and drug discovery. The specific keywords for his current research are as following: homogeneous catalysis, C-H activation, organometallics, transition metal catalysis, tandem catalysis, amide cleavage and methodology development.
