Narendraprasad Reddy Bheemireddy

  • Research Expertise:My main research interests are 1. Methodology development with Metal free/Transition Metal-catalyzed Reactions for for organic synthesis and drug discovery 2. Total Synthesis 3. Reactions with renewable feed stock As a synthetic organic chemist, I am well trained in all the basic analytical techniques including the continuous flow hydrogenation [H-Cube] Combi-flash, HPLC for the purification and LC-MS, NMR [1D, 2D] for the data analysis. I have considerable experience in training students and junior colleagues in their short-term as well as long term projects in our laboratory which was further acknowledged as their dissertation works.
  • Keywords:CHEMICAL SYNTHESIS, CHEMICAL REACTIONS, CHEMICAL INDUSTRY, Chemistry (incl. biochemistry)
  • Disciplines:Organic chemical synthesis, Catalysis, Organic green chemistry
  • Research techniques:My area of interest includes all of Bioorganic and Organic chemistry especially in the field of Total synthesis of some natural products using modern synthetic techniques. I am very much interested and keen to pursue research in the area of synthetic organic chemistry. I have developed this interest by perusal of various journals during my graduate study and also by listening to lectures delivered in the department by various professors and scientists. Good fundamentals in Organic chemistry makes me more potential applicant to teach organic chemistry.
  • Users of research expertise:Meaningful research work results from coordination between excellent infrastructure, individual drive, a “research culture” and distinguished faculty and it is here that an institution becomes important. I am sure that any chemical or pharmaceutical research institution would give me the best chance to cultivate my talents and channelize my ideas fruitfully. Hence the first step towards realization of my objective is to obtain a position in my specified area of interest. From there on I would like to pursue a career in research, which would cater to the needs of industry specifically and society as a whole.
