Book - Report

Subtitle:G3Dv2
The Geological 3D layer model of Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region version 2, G3Dv2, was completed in 2013. It was created by the Flemish Subsoil Knowledge Centre (VLAKO) at VITO on behalf of ALBON. In the creation of the different layers, we always started from as much existing (digital) data as possible, such as point data, map material, grids, etc.. The point data from DOV, data from the BGD, earlier geological mapping, HCOV grids, etc. form the basis of this geological 3D model. The model was 'closed' for all layers. Controls were built in at the day zoom boundaries and the fractures so that the layers do not cut or that the model does not contain any 'holes'. The 3D model is made available in the formetadata and associated reports are also made available.m of grid layers of 100*100 m representing the base, and in some cases the top, of the different geological units. In addition, for each defined layer plane, an XYZ table, occurrence map, fracture map, drillings,
