Pack4Food npo is a multidisciplinary consortium of Flemish research institutes and companies active in different sectors of food packaging.

Pack4Food was founded in October 2005 in the framework of the IWT-TD-project 40576 “Innovation through food packaging”. It groups the industrial stakeholders within food packaging: food producers, gas suppliers, packaging producers (including printing companies), producers of filling machines and retailers. Pack4Food aims on the one hand to stimulate innovation in food packaging through collective research projects and on the other hand to support companies in their daily packaging challenges. Pack4Food is the intermediate link between the academic research world and the industry. It facilitates networking between companies of different sectors to tackle important food packaging challenges. In this way, Pack4Food forms a radar, capturing signals from the broad workfield, also allowing to do partnermatching in an efficient manner.
