Democratic spillover of enterprises (DemoSOE)

The project aims to contribute to the strengthening of democratic institutions by supporting the spillover of democratic behaviour (including social inclusion and general interest orientation) from enterprises to other institutions of society. In particular, the project will take democratic enterprises as a starting point to study:1)how democratic citizenship of individuals can be fostered and developed within economic institutions and how it transfers to political and social institutions; and2)how democratic practices diffuse among economic institutions themselves. The results will be used to develop training programs, guidelines and recommendations for supporting an increase in democratic citizenship by tapping into the potential of the economic sphere of action.
