Validation of 2-aminoimidazoles as biofilm inhibitors in industrial water systems

The aim of this project is to provide a proof-of-concept for the resistance-resistant action of 2-aminoimidazoles (2-Als) as biofilm inhibitors in industrial (cooling water; boiler water, process water) water systems and the optimization of their (i ) activity, (ii) safety and (iii) cost of chemical synthesis.
