Computational methods to unravel perturbed transcriptional regulation in cancer
Book - Dissertation
Gene regulation plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of many diseases. Cancer is not an exception. New high-throughput and single-cell sequencing techniques in combination with computational approaches make tackling the vast combinatorial regulatory space more feasible. During this PhD project we will develop new bioinformatics methods which will enable biologists in charting cancer related transcription factors and their target genes down to cellular resolution.
