A specific legal status governing the employment relationships in the public sector: a comparative analysis Vrije Universiteit Brussel
Most of the continental legal systems know a specific legal status for its workforce in the public sector. However, all these systems are subject to innovations and to a vivid legal debate. This contribution tends to compare the Belgian, Dutch, French and German system with the different system in the UK. Similarities are mentioned (including the influence of the jurisprudence of the ECJ and the ECHR) as well diverging tendencies.
