TAMALE: Tracer-bAsed MApping of Liver mEtabolism

The dynamic mapping of the metabolism and nutrition of the healthy and diseased liver will lead to

metabolic mapping of other organs and ultimately entire biological systems. Understanding how

nutrition and hormonal changes affect cell/organ metabolism obviously paves the way to treatment of

metabolic changes or abnormalities via the use of selective nutrition and medication. There are of course

ramifications to the study of hepatotoxicity of novel drugs too.
