Security components for trusted computer systems

The objective of this proposal is to study and create the necessary security components to support generic security functionality on processors. The idea is to provide additional security components, that operate in parallel with the existing processor, but that are at the same time tightly integrated with the existing architectures. Parallel with the hardware components, we will also develop a number of whole program security transformations that will either exploit the newly developed security components, or will have their own raison d'être.
