SafePat:Developing excellence in patient safety in cross-border regions through standardised procedures, policies and innovative tools (R-9358)

Main target: Improving patient safety by decreasing the risks that are associated with patient admission, transfer and discharge. Patient safety improvement is realised through connecting and standardising best practices in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. UHasselt aims: Developing shared standards in patient safety - additionally supporting the work packages of the partner institutions, such as analysis of current patient safety systems, development of innovative tools, empowering patients and health care workers, developing an accreditation framework and creating a regional network for patient safety.
