Quality Employment and Quality Public Services (in the Prison Services Sector and the Child Care Sector)

The goal of this research is to develop a framework for analyzing employment quality, applicable to childcare and prison services, as well as to investigate the relation with the quality of the services offered. Second, an assessment has to be made of the future trends in the relevant sectors in terms of employment growth, demographic change, and digitalization and how these are likely to impact on employment quality and quality of service. A third focus of this project lies on the investigation of the extent to which employment quality is a matter of collective bargaining or social dialogue in both selected sectors.
