PROCOTEX – Products of Coated Textiles (PROCOTEX)

Within the consortium consisting of 2 European and 1 South-African partner, different surface modification technologies as well as expertise in electrospinning are available. These technologies are the basis for developing 3 prototype products:a textile fibre with transistor properties as on-off switch for textile sensors; a sensor for nitric oxide detection and an air filter for dedicated filtration of NOx. Knowledge and research skills available within the consortium are complimentary and ensure the contribution of each partner to the joint development of the products.
