Parenting in a context of prolonged armed conflict

This research project studies the impact of war and armed conflicts onto parental ethno-theories and parenting practices. Hereto, we will execute three studies in Uganda, hereby using focus group discussions, questionnaires and multiple case studies. These studies will enable us to compare parenting practices in a regio affected by armed conflict with a non-war-affected region. On top, parenting in extreme situations of violence will be studied.
