Observing the Northern Hemisphere snow mass with Sentinel-1. (C-SNOW)

C-SNOW will demonstrate the ablity of the ESA and Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission.  A baselin retrieval algorithm has recently been developed and evaluated by the team at the regional scale. This will be extented over  the Northern Hemisphere, and improved via dedicated field experiments with lower-mounted radar measurements over mountain snow-sites. The end goal of this project is to make optimized Sentinel-1 snow mass observations over the Northern Hemisphere mountains availbele to the community.
