Mobility, inbreeding and fitness in spatially-structured populaties of warblers: an integrated study with genotypic and phenotypic markers

This project aims at providing insight into the complex relationships between mobility, genetic and demographic processes operating in spatially-structured populations of warblers. We therefore study behavioural, genotypic and phenotypic patterns and processes in rural and urban populations of Passer domesticus. Research methods comprise mark-recapture, telemetry and analysis of micro-satellite DNA, ptilochronology and bilateral asymmetry.
