Project
Methodology for environmental risk assessment in preparation of the regulation of biological control agents (macro-organisms)
The goal of this project is to develop and evaluate research methodologies for the different aspects of an environmental risk assessment for invertebrate biological control agents of agricultural pests. A predatory mirid, a ladybird, a parasitoid wasp, a predatory mite and an entomopathogenic nematode are proposed as case studies. The research should support the development of a regulation system for invertebrate biological control agents in Belgium.
