Interventions in the built and social environment improving elderly’s wellbeing in an activity-travel context

Ageing often implies declined capacity for travel, which adversely effects independently living and thus affects elderly’s wellbeing. In this project, we investigate how physical and social aspects of the living environment affect activity travel behaviour of older adults, what the consequences are for their wellbeing, and how an age-friendly living environment can be built.
