INTERACT: Accesibility to places and transport: social, economic and environmental interactions.

INTERACT is a cluster project financed by the Belgian Science Policy in the programme "Science for Sustainable Development". The aim of the cluster is an interdisciplinary cooperation in the previously acquired knowledge to compare, deepen and translate it into a new vision that is associated with policy proposals from an integrated approach. The 2 year (2010-2011) project consists of: 1. harmonisation and synthesis of results and recommendations from previous mobility studies of the Federal Science Policy; 2. presentation of the synthesis of results and recommendations to policy makers in order to evaluated the expected effects, the acceptance, etc. This will be organised through a questionnaire and a workshop; 3. use the conclusions from the questionnaire and the workshop in case studies targeted on specific socio-sultural groups, and strategic locations from a geographic point of view; 4. communication of results in a book, and presentation of decision support tools in a second workshop.
