HIV prevention among young women in sub-Saharan Africa: statistical and epidemiological modelling to unite biological, sociological, behavioural and epidemiological science

The incidence of HIV is exceptionally high among young women in sub-Saharan Africa. This phenomenon is the result of biological, behavioural and epidemiological factors. Using data from Malawi, statistica land epidemiological techniques will be applied to create a constent, holistic modelling framework for these complex dynamics, and this model will be used to formulate implications for HIV prevention.
