Ethical pragmatism: an investigation into the traditional Chinese morality within the complexity of present-day Chinese society (Ethisch pragmatisme)

The tradtional Chinese pragmatic ethics is dominated by Confucianism. This project is an investigation into the way in which this ethical pragmatism is concretised in the present-day Chinese society. Focus of this research is the so-called "hutuxue", the "study how to pretend not to know", a very popular form of pragmatism in present-day China.
