Project

Drought response in Arabidopsis thaliana leaves.

The aim of this project is to identify and functionally characterize new genes and regulatory pathways that play a role in the response of Arabidopsis thaliana to drought stress. In collaboration with the Vision lab we will develop an automated image analysis platform that will allow quantification of number, composition and size of cells in cleared leaves of 75 Arabidopsisgenotypes. The most promising lines will be analyzed in more detail.
