Development of amino-rich, chemically stable polymeric surfaces by atmospheric pressure plasma polymerization

This project has the goal to develop chemically stable amino-rich polymeric surfaces and will focus on plasma polymerization of allylamine at atmospheric pressure. This research should provide a fundamental understanding of the telationship between fragmentation processes in atmospheric pressure plasmas and the chemical composition of the created surfaces. This knowledge will result in advanced polymeric surfaces with unprecedented functionality.
