Bridging the gap. Exploring ethno-cultural, identificational and marital patterns among second generation Turkish Belgians through the lens of boundary work

We contribute to research on the second generation in Europe through a study of the Turkish second generations' experiences, choices and narratives in terms of cultural practices, identification and partner choice. Drawing on in-depth interviews with the Turkish second generation in Belgium, we zoom in on micro-level lived experiences, and explore how they negotiate ethnic boundaries and structural constraints.
