Unraveling the early events of particle-induced autoimmunity using diverse mouse strains (tentative)

The underlying mechanism of particle-induced autoimmunity are still not entirely elucidated and research regarding this topic bears significant limitations. During this doctorate, we aim to address the shortage of studies evaluating the impact of co-exposures (silica and diesel exhaust particles) as well as the shortage of representative experimental animal models.
