Compact LCOS projection displays for high-quality 3D images with high spatial and angular resolution

The introduction of threedimensional displays is probably the next important step towards more realistic imaging systems. This project envisages the realization of a display system that can generate a four dimensional light field approximating the real light distribution that emanates from an object or surrounding. To accomplish this, different images are projected in a sufficient number of different observation directions.
