Mapping new governance arrangements in urban sustainability transitions: towards a detailed understanding of institutional voids in Flemish cities

This project aims to develop a suited theoretical and analytical framework for a better understanding of new ambiguous governance arrangements - emerging in institutional voids – that focus on sustainable urban transitions. Tying together the fields of governance and sustainability transitions, this objective is addressed through interpretive case study research on four ‘new political spaces’ in two Flemish cities.
