Fast antimicrobial resistance testing of bovine Pasteurellaceae and Mycoplasma bovis through MBT ASTRA

The goal of this project is to realize a drastic time reduction on the availability of species identification and antimicrobial resistance testing. In this way, rapid and rational antibiotic use can be applied. First, rapid antimicrobial resistance testing is performed using MBT-ASTRA. Secondly, direct identification of the bacteria in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid on MALDI-TOF MS is performed.
