Role of heterogeneities in the onset and dynamics of cardiac arrhythmia in human hearts.

The purpose of the project is to

1) build a database for storing the data from a unique experimental dataset obtained from wedge preparations of the left ventricle

2) develop tools to translate these experimental data to accurate models of the human heart and finnaly

3) use these models to investigate the mechanism underlying the occurence of cardiac arrhythmia
