Governing farm animal welfare: Understanding nature-society relations in interconnected scientific and farming practices

This research analyses farm animal welfare governance as it is mediated within, and between different social practices. Specific focus is placed on the interaction between two social practices that are particularly consequential for animal welfare outcomes: those of scientific research on animal welfare, and of livestock farming.
