Project

Automated solid-phase extraction (SPE) as a robust and high throughput sample preparation technique for the analysis of bioactive organic ultra-trace compounds in liquid environmental and biological samples

This project focuses on the chemical analysis of bioactive organic ultra-trace compounds in liquid matrices. Particular attention is spent to emerging organic micropollutants in the aquatic environment, and on hormonal compounds in biologic systems. The requested funding is intended for purchasing the innovative sample preparation equipment (SPE) needed for extraction and preconcentration of these analytes in water or liquid extracts.
