Culture-dependent and independent anaysis of biofilm-associated microflora on endotracheal tubes and their role in ventilator-associated pneumonia

The aim of this project is to gain a better understanding of the microbial diversity on

ET using a culture-dependent and two culture-independent approaches. We will also investigate the antimicrobial resistance of the organisms recovered from the ET biofilms.
