emloyment of elderly and youth: a policy evaluation

the thesis assesses Italian and Belgian policies, encouraging the integration of elderly and young people in the labour market. in this part we study the impact of reductions in social security contributions and the credit-time schemes ofr older workers in Belgium on trnsitions from and to employment. the following methods will be used: difference-indiffernces, regression discontininuity design and propensity-score matching.
