Neogene seals from the northern hemisphere: a multi-parameter paleontological study of the early evolution of Phocidae (Pinnipedia)

The research deals with the evolution of fossils seals (Phocidae) from Neogene deposits of the northern hemisphere through a multidisciplinary research based on morphological analysis, micro-ct scan, isotope analysis and biostratigraphy. Emphasis is laid on the elucidation of phylogenetic relations between the different groups, and which factors influenced the dispersion.
