Project

Computer Vision/ Audio processing research for animal behavior analysis.

The aim of this PhD is to develop algorithms for animal behaviour analysis with a purpose to improve animal welfare. More specifically, I will develop state-of-the-art image and sound analysis approaches for identifying, tracking, and monitoring important animal behaviours/responses. I will also propose how extracted information can be exploited by end-users (researchers, animal care-takers) to understand and manage animals in ways that go beyond state-of-the-art practices.
