Model order reduction for vibro-acoustic system with porous materials in time domain and its applications in digital twin

The main objective of this research is to research and develop model order reduction techniques of vibro-acoustic system with porous materials in time domain. These techniques can contribute to its application in digital twin. Three type of porous materials are studied including admittance boundary conditions, rigid framed materials, and elastic framed materials. These frequency-dependent materials are first transformed into a large-scale model in the time domain. Furthermore, for these three different materials, different stability-preserving model order reduction methods are proposed. These methods can greatly speed up the calculation of transient response, enabling many applications in the field of digital twin, such as virtual sensing, parameter identification.
