Eddy covariance-based full greenhouse gas balance of a mixed evergreen tropical forest in the Congo basin

This research addresses for the first time the full greenhouse gas balance of a typical tropical forest of the Congo basin. This fills a knowledge gap on the function of forest ecosystems for global biogeochemical cycles and climate change mitigation. The eddy covariance technique is used quantify whole ecosystem-atmosphere exchange of greenhouse gas fluxes.
