Sabbatical Dominique Bauer: Researchsabbatical

This sabbatical semester would allow me to finalize my research over the past two years, in particular 1. to complete the source research and archival work, in Brussels and Paris, and 2. to publish this research. Specifically, it concerns two A1 publications in the top journals of French Studies (SFS, NCFS) and a monograph, the proposal of which has been accepted by Amsterdam University Press (not only A1 but also monographs are particularly important in the field of French Studies in which my research is situated). For this I need the necessary continuity in concentration, breathing space and also material time, and that also applies to the archive research. 3. Finally, these publications would enable me to write a C1 and FWO project with greater chance of success, in collaboration with colleagues, as well as a COST Action in which the strongly international dimension of my research can be crystallized. After all, the publications could provide a very solid substantive basis for both projects and work complementary to research, the results of which are now in print (two edited volumes at AUP in 2020). An FWO operating credit is requested.
